Resorts had strong chlorine water in the shower. It dried out my skin and hair. You may want to try showering with many bottles of water. I know it sounds crazy.

Dreams La Romana was the best all inclusive resort so far. At this resort, you can go food hopping. I had 3 dinners in 3 different restaurant in one evening. Their were 7 restaurant choices and private outdoor jazzi in suites. The buffet had mouth watering simply cooked groupers. Coco cafe had yummy bake goods. Waiter brings food orders quick. There are restaurants that open late or 24 hours. You will never be starved here.

The resort is infested with sand flies, and they attack in bunches. You will not feel very itchy until the next day, and then days after. The itch may last for a week. The markings will last up to 3 months. Sand flies and bedbugs are very similar except sand flies are not contagious. After it rains, it is strongly suggested to just stay in because they eat you alive. Expect at least 75 bites if you plan to be outdoors. Sand flies attack people the most at the golfing range and lobby yard.
RESTAURANTE
Room service menu is better than the 4 restaurants. Out of the 4 restaurants, I vote Seagrapes Grill for their fish sandwich with avocado and onion sauce. It's better to request the hamburger bun because the kind of bread they use is tough and hard to chew. I had it for lunch and dinner and it seemed to be a different chef. During dinner, the fish was one chunky piece and cooked just right. During lunch, the chef used 2 thin pieces and cooked it a bit dry. It did not taste as good.
SUITE
Staff members have the key card to your room and they enter constantly everyday. It's not once a day. They may take away stuff that you did not want them to. You may want to press privacy. There was complimentary butler service, golf cart driver service and movies.
ACTIVIDADES

Complimentary: golfing range to play includes golf equipment & your own personal golf cart to drive. Both males and females are required to wear a polo shirt and shoes. Shoe rental is $25. To golf 18 holes it costs $160.
